  I finally got a chance to build myself a little rocket ship just in time for hurricane season, bring it on….

2xw model: (5′9  19 1/4  2 1/4) striper airbrush, double fluted wing, single concave with subtle v off tail, all 4oz. glassing, sanded finish

I rode this board on sunday, it was blazing through the bumpy mush. Can’t wait to get this thing in some clean barrels, the perfect board for Long Island surf.

The 2XW Rocket is great in a wide variety of from waist high mushburgers to overhead bombs. It has a wide center and tail hip with 2 double fluted wings which allows you to really pull the tail in for quick rail to rail high performance surfing.

Fast Eddie told me the color of this board was Channin green cause back in the day Channin was the first board manufacturer to start using this color. This board is available at Mollusk NYC

This board was for a friend in NJ , he had an old Quadzilla and asked me to trim the fat for him. He wanted a Quadzilla with a sleeker outline more nose and tail rocker, pulled in nose and tail,  something that would perform in some real surf not just for the mush. This is what we came up with (6′1 -  21 1/4  - 2 1/2 )
